Crossing the Ebebiyin Border: A Wild Overland Adventure into Equatorial Guinea

Navigating the crossing from Gabon into Equatorial Guinea at the Ebebiyin border was definitely an exercise in patience, especially with the 50,000 CFA stamp fee they requested upfront. The road conditions toward Bata were surprisingly manageable for a 4x4, though expect plenty of unannounced checkpoints along the main highway. It is a rugged route, but the lush jungle scenery made the five-hour wait at the border worthwhile.
