Just finished the drive north from Sabha and want to warn everyone about the condition of the road near the junction with the Fezzan desert tracks. The tarmac is heavily eroded in sections, and we ended up with a shredded tire about 50km outside the city limits. Keep your speed low and ensure you have at least two spare wheels before attempting this route.
