I finally navigated the new eTA system for my flight into Nairobi last week. It took about 72 hours for the approval to come through, and I made sure to print a physical copy of the permit to show the immigration officer upon arrival. Definitely double-check your passport upload because mine was rejected the first time for a blurry image.
