Any Advice on Best Bus Routes From Dakar to Saint-Louis?

I am planning a trip to Saint-Louis next week and was wondering if anyone has recently taken the intercity buses from Dakar. Is it better to book the morning shuttle or is the afternoon express bus generally more reliable regarding travel time?
